Painting created with feathers found in Schiedam, Rotterdam, and along the beach—from pigeons, seagulls, parakeets, ravens, crows, Egyptian geese, magpies, jays, blackbirds, and woodpeckers— and reflects the birdlife in my immediate surroundings. It honours the spiritual connection with nature and pays tribute to Indigenous peoples for their deep knowledge and wisdom in maintaining harmony with the natural world.
